Ninja City Adventure

Hi, I’m Michele Rapp—I am the Chief Exploration Officer of the Columbus Adventure Club, I’m happily married to my soulmate and best friend, Dave, and together we have two amazing boys who are truly my “why.” Becoming a mom wasn’t an easy journey for me, so when I finally had my boys, I didn’t want to miss a single moment of watching them grow. But like many parents, I also had to step back into the real world and return to work—and that’s where everything changed. Finding available childcare was a challenge, and I quickly realized I wanted something different—not just for my kids, but for others too. So I created it. What started as the Jr. Explorer Club grew into what is now the Columbus Adventure Club—a place where kids can truly be kids. We’re unplugged from electronics and plugged into the world around us. No phones. No Apple Watches. No screens of any kind—FORBIDDEN! (Okay… we make one fun exception during summer camp when we visit 16-Bit Arcade for some vintage gaming fun.) Instead, we’re climbing trees, exploring creeks, getting muddy, and celebrating every scrape and bruise with a high five. We believe in old-school play, real connection, and giving kids the freedom to explore, take risks, and build confidence. I’ve always believed it’s important to step outside your comfort zone and try something new… because what if it ends up being the best thing ever? And that’s exactly the kind of experience I want every child who walks through our doors to have. Try us out!
